Should I book my Senior Session now?
WHEN SHOULD YOU book your photo session for your 2017 Senior-the REAL ANSWER.
I would LOVE to shed some light on the BEST TIME to schedule a senior session question! I get asked so often and I I would LOVE to share a little insight into one of the most wonderful and eventful times of your Seniors' life!
The SENIOR season officially begins in SPRING of the JUNIOR YEAR! That's RIGHT.... SPRING! For example: if you are graduating in 2017 your senior photo session can be in the books anytime between APRIL 1st 2016-March 2017. WHY SO EARLY????
SEVERAL REASONS to CONSIDER BOOKING sooner than later!
1. The spring weather in Virginia is STUNNING! It's not too hot and the flowers are blooming. It's green and most of all COOLERRRRR. Those who choose to get pictures done in April, May and June get a nice treat. They are able to get done and move on to the next phase which is vacation in the summer and then on to the roller coaster ride to GRADUATION!
2. Summer is HOT. We still photograph of course, but it's a little HHHHHOOOOTTTEEERRRRR in JULY, AUGUST and September.
4. I LOVE October! But check your schools DRAPE and TUX deadline to make sure your safe to photograph in the later fall.
3. AS SOON as September hits... SENIORS ARE BUSY! Homecoming, college applications, school deadlines, work, and college visits take up a greater part of Fall! Before you know it- it's Christmas and you are looking to order GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS! TRUST ME! I have been through this 5 years and I am telling you----- GET THIS DONE, in the books and YOU will be a happy CAMPER!
FEW FACTS to think about:
1.. DID you know that MOST schools require your DRAPE or TUX photo to be turned in by early October or LATE November?
2. FALL IS insane for the SENIOR! Get photos done early and you will have images for Christmas ornaments and family gifts!
3. Early Spring 2017 is when you will organize your grad party start major planning. Images should be chosen for GRAD announcements and ordered in March and April of the '17 year! AND THEN our new 2018's will be STARTING IN APRIL! AHHHHHHHH!!!!
