About two years ago, I drooled over a necklace piece that my friend had. I kept asking her where she got it and she would tell me -Crimson Clover! Finally around Christmas time, she visited the infamous Crimson Clover (in Chesterfield, VA) to pick up gifts, and I begged for her to bring me back something! ANYTHING! For two years I have worn "out" my necklace that i have received from her visit to Crimson Clover. Its still going strong actually, but I have been hunkering for multiple pieces (for a really long time). The funny thing is that in that time, I had met a beautiful new friend who happened to be friends with designer, Creator, and Owner Tia Dowler. She "hooked us up" through Facebook and Tia and I became FB friends! It was this past week, that I finally got to meet Tia and go to her home in Chesterfield where she runs Crimson Clover! I was over the moon excited with Camera in HAND!! I thought I would photograph my journey and some of her one of a kind custom designs.
TIA had a HUGE surprise waiting for me as I walked into her jaw dropping home. A brand new, one of a kind, necklace. OMG, school girl moment.
Tia and I chatted for over three hours as I poked around, going mentally crazy about wanting to have every piece in her sprawling studio. I even got to see the first piece of jewelry she ever made. It was truly an experience to meet Tia and hear her story, her goals and talk about where she would like to see her company go. She hand makes every single piece of jewelry. The character and quality of each piece is out of this universe and i am blown away at her talent. With over 30,000 likes to her FB page, I am not the ONLY one head over heals for this jewelry. Its unique charm captures my very soul and I see why after meeting the Creator. Tia is truly an inspiration in so many ways, and my entrepreneural heart could not get enough!
I left with two new cherished pieces(i would have gotten more, but Tia has a show next weekend and will fill my order when she gets back), a new cool jewelry designer friend and a very special gift for MY STUDIO! WE, yes-(over the moon and back excited) will be carrying hand selected piece from Tia and Crimson Clover at Studio FBJ-can someone please pinch me.....! Yet another reason to come and see me!
