Something Special

Peyton came into the studio to have her senior pictures done a few weeks ago. We had a wonderful time and I found out that Peyton has a special gift and special job. I was so interested in her story being an animal lover myself. Petyon asked if she could come back with her dog for a few shots and I was more than happy to have her and her dog back last week!
I asked her mom to send me some information about the dog and program and she sent me a letter from the 2013 Spirit of Volunteerism Selection Committee from the University of Richmond:

Peyton Krevonick is a dedicated young woman who is raising a puppy for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Her dedication to raising this puppy and the countless hours she invests in ensuring he has the experiences and socializations necessary to function as a successful Guide Dog are a testament to her significant and passionate commitment to community. She not only gives her time 24/7 to train and work with this pup but she also invests time educating the community about disability issues and service dog etiquette.

Peyton was also featured in the Mechanicsville local! How impressive is this girl!
I wanted to share a few photos from her session with her new dog, since I was so smitten with them!!
